Craig Monson is originally from Osceola, Nebraska.  He received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska in 1969 and is a 1972 graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Craig’s primary areas of practice include estate planning, wills, revocable living trusts and other types of trusts, real estate law, real estate sales, formation of limited liability companies and corporations, and personal injury work.

Craig represents several banks in the area, has been the Laurel City Attorney since starting his practice, and is an FHA loan closing attorney.  In addition, he has served as attorney for the cities of Dixon, Allen, and Concord, Nebraska.  He is also a past attorney for the Laurel-Concord School District and the Wakefield School District.  Craig has practiced in both county and district courts in northeast Nebraska and has practiced before the Nebraska Public Service Commission.

Craig holds a real estate broker’s license and has operated his own real estate business for over thirty-three years.  Over that period of time, Craig has sold many thousands of acres of farmland in northeast Nebraska at consistently high prices.

Craig’s wife, Arllys, is a graphic designer and former teacher.  Together they have raised four children here in Laurel.
